About the Symposium
The HCV Symposium is the foremost annual international meeting for scientists, researchers and clinicians interested in molecular virology, pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of hepatitis C virus, as well as related viruses. These related viruses include flaviviruses (Dengue, Zika virus), pestiviruses, pegiviruses and other hepatitis viruses (A-E).
New developments in the fight against Hepatitis C and related viruses are presented for information and discussion at the Symposium. The aim of the Symposium includes increasing the scientific understanding of these viruses with a view to controlling their spread in the future.
The Importance of Sponsorship
Young researchers and investigators require funding for scholarships and to enable them to travel to Symposia such as this. Without sponsorship, the registration fees would not be affordable. Sponsorship encourages young researchers to believe in the value of their research and to pursue it long-term. Sponsors achieve international recognition for their goodwill in supporting researchers and their scientific endeavours. The HCV Symposium can continue the invaluable collegiality and networking of the scientific community only with the support of sponsors.
